A New Start

So it's been a long time since I last logged in here to post anything. To be honest, depression has been kicking my ass as of late. Nothing new there, but this time around I'm trying to push through it.
With that in mind, I decided that I want to start fresh with this journal. I want to try to post something in here nearly everyday, just like I used to with my blog back in high school. So I'm going to try something different for the next month or so: theme days! Every weekday is a different theme, and I have to post something on that day relating to that theme. I'm going to keep with somewhat lighthearted for the most part, but I'll devote a day to real life drudgery. So, theme days:
Sunday: General life update and goals for the week. Because I find I get stuff done more consistently when I have a list.
Monday: Gaming stuff. What I'm playing, what I want to play, etc.
Tuesday: Review something I've watched. I really want to get back into reviewing, but I'm so horribly out of practice that I need to freshen up my skills.
Wednesday: Fanfic ideas to be thrown around or meta. Basically me thinking out loud about ideas I want to write. Whether or not they'll actually get written is another thing.
Thursday: Whatever I want. I won't restrict myself this day.
Friday: Excerpt from some sort of fiction I had written. I need to motivate myself to write something.
Saturday: Something artsy. Maybe a sketch, or photo, or whatever.
There. Maybe that'll help me focus a bit. Today I will omit from my list and just do this post, but tomorrow I'll start and hopefully be able to stick with this for at least a month. I read somewhere that it takes about fourteen days for something to become a habit. I'm holding hope for that to happen here. It'll be tricky in between job responsibilities, but I really want to make this work. If only for my own self-esteem.
Well, here goes. Wish me luck, imaginary audience!
